When couples ask me which venue to choose for their Cabo wedding, I always say the same thing: every resort can host a wedding. But not every resort gives you the kind of light, setting, and intimacy that makes photographs feel like art.
I've spent years working across Los Cabos, from the Pedregal cliffs to the quiet shores of San José del Cabo, and I have strong opinions about where the best moments actually happen. This isn't a sponsored list. It's what I've seen through my lens. Here are fifteen of the most beautiful places to get married in Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos.
The Pueblo Bonito resorts: four of the most beautiful in Cabo
If I had to send a couple toward one family of resorts that reliably delivers on setting and warmth, it would be Pueblo Bonito. There are four properties, each with a completely different mood, and every one of them photographs beautifully.
1. Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos (Blanco)
The original Pueblo Bonito, and still one of my favorite places to marry in Cabo. Blanco sits right on El Médano, the calm, swimmable beach that looks straight out toward Land's End and the arch. It's intimate and warm, with whitewashed Mexican architecture, fountains, and gardens that glow at golden hour. For a beach ceremony with the real Cabo skyline behind you, it's hard to beat. Because it sits on the bay, your portraits get that postcard view of El Arco.
2. Pueblo Bonito Rosé
Right next door, on the same stretch of Médano Beach, Rosé is the romantic one. Its blush-pink, Mediterranean-style architecture is a gift in photographs, and those rose-colored walls against the turquoise water are the kind of thing you don't forget. It's a little grander than Blanco, with elegant pool terraces, sculpture, and archways that make lovely backdrops for a reception or a portrait. If you love color, this is your place.
3. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica
The adults-only member of the family, tucked into the quiet Quivira community on the Pacific side. This is the calm, grown-up choice: no crowds, no kids, just open ocean and a spa-like sense of peace. The rougher Pacific surf and moodier sky give portraits a raw, editorial feel you won't get on the calmer bay. First looks here are some of my favorites.
4. Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach
The big, sweeping property of the group, set high on the Pacific bluffs of Quivira with ocean views in every direction. It's the most flexible of the four. There's room for a larger guest list, it's family-friendly, and it still delivers a dramatic sunset ceremony over the water. The elevated terraces make for wide, cinematic shots, and the sunsets here are some of the best anywhere in Cabo.

5. Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
Nothing in Cabo matches the drama of El Pedregal. You arrive through a private tunnel carved into the cliffs, and when you come out the other side, the Pacific fills your whole view. The ceremony terraces sit right at the edge of the world, and at sunset everything turns amber and cinematic. It's the most photogenic resort I've worked in.
6. The Cape, a Thompson Hotel
Perched above Médano Beach with a clean, unobstructed view of El Arco. The design is modern and fashion-forward, and the rooftop glows in the late afternoon. A great fit for couples who want a contemporary, editorial look.
7. Esperanza, Auberge Resorts
Quiet and intimate, tucked into a cove at Punta Ballena. Natural rock, bougainvillea, and stone pathways frame a ceremony like a painting. It reads less like a hotel and more like a hidden spot you found by chance.
8. Chileno Bay, Auberge Resorts
Set on one of the few genuinely swimmable beaches in Los Cabos, with clear turquoise water and a sleek, contemporary look. Bright and airy, it's lovely for a daytime beach ceremony and clean, crisp portraits.
9. Montage Los Cabos
On Santa María Bay, another protected, swimmable cove. The luxury here is understated, all warm stone and gentle water, which makes it elegant without trying too hard and very kind to photographs.
10. One&Only Palmilla
The grande dame of Los Cabos. The hilltop chapel, the manicured gardens, and the classic elegance make it the pick for couples who want refined, traditional beauty.
11. Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort
White architecture, reflecting pools, and famously careful service. It's serene and sophisticated, with clean lines and Sea of Cortez views that photograph beautifully.
12. Grand Velas Los Cabos
Grand and all-inclusive, with wide oceanfront terraces built for bigger celebrations. Bold modern architecture and a lot of open sky, if you want scale and polish.
13. Sunset Monalisa
For the classic Cabo sunset shot, with Land's End framing your silhouette against an orange sky, nothing beats it. The cliffside terrace is small, so it caps your guest count, but the setting is unreal. It's the Pinterest Cabo cliff photo you already have saved.
14. Flora Farms
A complete change of scenery. It's a working organic farm in the hills above San José del Cabo, full of greenery, string lights, and long farm tables, with warm field light at the end of the day. The most romantic garden setting in Los Cabos, if you ask me.
15. Acre Resort
A lush palm-jungle oasis, also inland near San José. Think treehouse suites, tropical green everywhere, and a relaxed, boho-luxe feel. A beautiful alternative if you'd rather have green than blue.

What to ask before you book
Before you sign anything, ask the venue two questions: which direction does the ceremony site face, and what time does the sun set on your date? West-facing venues on the Pacific side give you that golden backlight during the ceremony. East-facing venues on the Cortez side are beautiful in a different way, with the mountains catching the light instead of the water.
And book your photographer before you lock in the venue. I've had couples fall for a venue that came with a "preferred photographer" rule and a style that was nothing like theirs. Your photographer and your venue need to fit together. It matters more than most people expect.
A note on visiting venues before the wedding
If you can, visit your shortlisted venues in person before you book. The photos on a resort website are always shot on the best possible day, at the best possible hour, with a styling team and perfect florals. Walk the ceremony site yourself. Stand where you'll stand. See where the sun falls. Ask to visit at the time of day when your ceremony will actually happen.

Los resorts Pueblo Bonito: cuatro de los más hermosos de Cabo
Si tuviera que mandar a una pareja hacia una sola familia de resorts que casi siempre cumple en escenario y calidez, sería Pueblo Bonito. Son cuatro propiedades, cada una con un ánimo completamente distinto, y todas se fotografían de maravilla.
1. Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos (Blanco)
El Pueblo Bonito original, y todavía uno de mis lugares favoritos para casarse en Cabo. Blanco está justo sobre El Médano, la playa tranquila y nadable que mira directo hacia Land's End y el Arco. Es íntimo y cálido, con arquitectura mexicana en blanco, fuentes y jardines que brillan en la hora dorada. Para una ceremonia en la playa con el verdadero skyline de Cabo detrás de ti, es difícil de superar. Como está sobre la bahía, tus retratos capturan esa vista de postal del Arco.
2. Pueblo Bonito Rosé
Justo al lado, sobre el mismo tramo de Playa Médano, Rosé es el romántico. Su arquitectura rosa de estilo mediterráneo es un regalo en fotografías, y esas paredes color rosa contra el agua turquesa son de las que no se olvidan. Es un poco más grande que Blanco, con elegantes terrazas de alberca, esculturas y arcos que hacen fondos preciosos para una recepción o un retrato. Si amas el color, este es tu lugar.
3. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica
El miembro solo para adultos de la familia, metido en la tranquila comunidad de Quivira del lado del Pacífico. Es la opción calmada y adulta: sin multitudes, sin niños, solo océano abierto y una paz de spa. El oleaje más bravo del Pacífico y el cielo más dramático le dan a los retratos un aire crudo y editorial que no consigues en la bahía más calmada. Los primeros vistazos aquí son de mis favoritos.
4. Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach
La propiedad grande y amplia del grupo, en lo alto de los acantilados del Pacífico de Quivira, con vistas al océano en todas direcciones. Es la más flexible de las cuatro. Hay espacio para una lista de invitados grande, es familiar, y aun así te da una ceremonia dramática al atardecer sobre el agua. Las terrazas elevadas hacen tomas amplias y cinematográficas, y los atardeceres aquí son de los mejores de todo Cabo.

5. Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
Nada en Cabo iguala el drama de El Pedregal. Llegas por un túnel privado esculpido en los acantilados, y al salir del otro lado, el Pacífico llena toda tu vista. Las terrazas de ceremonia están justo al borde del mundo, y al atardecer todo se vuelve ámbar y cinematográfico. Es el resort más fotogénico en el que he trabajado.
6. The Cape, a Thompson Hotel
Encima de Playa Médano, con una vista limpia y despejada del Arco. El diseño es moderno y vanguardista, y la azotea brilla en la tarde. Va muy bien con parejas que quieren un look contemporáneo y editorial.
7. Esperanza, Auberge Resorts
Tranquilo e íntimo, metido en una cala en Punta Ballena. La roca natural, las buganvilias y los senderos de piedra enmarcan una ceremonia como una pintura. Se siente menos hotel y más un lugar escondido que encontraste por casualidad.
8. Chileno Bay, Auberge Resorts
Sobre una de las pocas playas realmente nadables de Los Cabos, con agua turquesa cristalina y un look elegante y contemporáneo. Luminoso y aireado, es hermoso para una ceremonia de playa de día y retratos limpios y nítidos.
9. Montage Los Cabos
En Bahía Santa María, otra cala protegida y nadable. El lujo aquí es discreto, de piedra cálida y agua tranquila, lo que lo hace elegante sin esforzarse y muy amable con las fotografías.
10. One&Only Palmilla
La gran dama de Los Cabos. La capilla en la colina, los jardines cuidados y la elegancia clásica lo vuelven la elección para parejas que quieren una belleza refinada y tradicional.
11. Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort
Arquitectura blanca, espejos de agua y un servicio famoso por su cuidado. Es sereno y sofisticado, con líneas limpias y vistas al Mar de Cortés que se fotografían bellamente.
12. Grand Velas Los Cabos
Grande y todo incluido, con amplias terrazas frente al mar hechas para celebraciones más grandes. Arquitectura moderna imponente y mucho cielo abierto, si quieres escala y sofisticación.
13. Sunset Monalisa
Para la clásica foto del atardecer en Cabo, con Land's End enmarcando tu silueta contra un cielo naranja, nada la supera. La terraza en el acantilado es pequeña, así que limita el número de invitados, pero el escenario es irreal. Es la foto de acantilado de Cabo que ya tienes guardada en Pinterest.
14. Flora Farms
Un cambio total de escenario. Es una granja orgánica en funcionamiento en las colinas sobre San José del Cabo, llena de verde, luces colgantes y largas mesas de granja, con luz cálida de campo al final del día. El escenario de jardín más romántico de Los Cabos, si me preguntas.
15. Acre Resort
Un exuberante oasis de selva de palmeras, también tierra adentro cerca de San José. Suites tipo casa del árbol, verde tropical por todos lados y un ambiente relajado boho-luxe. Una hermosa alternativa si prefieres el verde antes que el azul.

Qué preguntar antes de reservar
Antes de firmar nada, hazle dos preguntas al venue: ¿en qué dirección mira el sitio de la ceremonia, y a qué hora se pone el sol en tu fecha? Los venues con vista al oeste en el lado del Pacífico te dan esa luz dorada por detrás durante la ceremonia. Los venues con vista al este en el lado del Cortés son hermosos de otra forma, con las montañas atrapando la luz en lugar del agua.
Y reserva a tu fotógrafa antes de cerrar el venue. He tenido parejas que se enamoraron de un venue que traía una regla de "fotógrafa preferida" con un estilo que no se parecía en nada al suyo. Tu fotógrafa y tu venue tienen que combinar. Importa más de lo que la gente cree.
Una nota sobre visitar los venues antes de la boda
Si puedes, visita en persona los venues que estás considerando antes de reservar. Las fotos del sitio web de un resort siempre se toman en el mejor día posible, a la mejor hora posible, con equipo de estilismo y flores perfectas. Camina tú misma por el sitio de la ceremonia. Párate donde te pararás. Mira dónde cae el sol. Pide visitarlo a la hora del día en que realmente será tu ceremonia.
